Insurance and Workers Compensation

-  Heathan Carpentry is covered by a Liability Insurance policy.  Liability Insurance protects both you, the customer, and I the builder in the event that an error in my work should lead to damage to your property, or your person.  I have never had cause to rely upon liability insurance.

-  Heathan Carpentry carries a Workers Compensation policy as is required by the state. Workers Compensation is a valuable program for those who are self employed as it protects us in the event that we should be injured in a job related accident. Though this state mandated program has real benefits, it is challenging for small businesses to afford. The cost of Workers Compensation is, loosely, $1 on every $10 paid in labor. This expense is included in the cost of a project.
